The project
Suikerpark in Veurne is an innovative urban development where living, working and leisure come together.
The project offers a diverse range of houses and apartments in various architectural styles and price categories, catering to both young and older residents. In addition to residential units, Suikerpark includes a music academy, retail spaces and atelier homes, creating a vibrant and dynamic neighbourhood.
The Suikertorens, comprising 71 apartments, form the architectural highlight of the site, while the Brikkerijen provide 28 terraced houses and additional apartments in a more intimate, residential setting. Gallery 1 and 2 enhance the liveliness of the central Suikerplein, and the renovated Incubator offers space for entrepreneurship.
As a result, Suikerpark is evolving into a lively new urban district with a strong social and economic mix.

Furnibo acted as a construction partner for several subprojects within Suikerpark in Veurne, including the Brikkerijen, the Gallerijen and the Suikertorens.
Our customer guidance team ensured a personalised approach, assisting end clients in selecting and coordinating their interior finishes. Thanks to the expertise of our BIM modellers, each phase of the project was executed efficiently and accurately, with thorough preparation and on-site coordination.
The combination of new construction, renovation and mixed-use functions made Suikerpark a complex yet highly engaging development. High-quality solutions were delivered both above and below ground, including an underground parking facility for 90 cars beneath the Suikertorens.
