Whistleblower reporting point

Through this reporting channel, all persons who come into contact with Bouwbedrijf Furnibo in the context of work-related activities can report (potential) violations. A violation is an act or omission that is unlawful and undermines the purpose or application of applicable legislation.

Since a correct report is subject to certain rules, we briefly explain these below:

A whistleblower report can be submitted via the reporting channel below to whistleblower@furnibo.be by any person who comes into contact with Bouwbedrijf Furnibo NV in the context of their work-related activities. This can include employees of Bouwbedrijf Furnibo as well as, for example, suppliers who provide services to Bouwbedrijf Furnibo NV.

Via this reporting channel, all violations can be reported, for example a breach of regulations concerning:

  • Data Protection (GDPR)
  • (Financial or social) Fraud
  • Public Procurement Act
  • Environment
  • Employment Law
  • Public Health

Whistleblowers are protected against retaliation, such as dismissal or demotion. This protection naturally does not apply when a deliberately false report is submitted (for example, to discredit someone). In that case, the reporter is subject to sanctions.

Your report will be handled in the first instance by the GDPR responsible person who has access to your report.

You can submit a report either non-anonymously (you provide your name) or anonymously:

  • If you wish to submit your report non-anonymously, you can fill in the fields "surname," "first name," and email address.
  • If you wish to submit your report anonymously, do not fill in the fields "surname" and "first name" and choose an email address that does not contain your identity.

As long as you provide a correct email address, you will be kept informed of the status of your case. If the email address you provided is incorrect, we cannot inform you, and we cannot contact you if we need additional information for a proper investigation. In that case, it is possible that no investigation can be conducted (due to missing information).
