The project

Porfier is a unique residential development in Sint-Amandsberg (Ghent), set in an exceptional location. The site borders a green nature reserve, combining the tranquillity of nature with close proximity to Ghent city centre and major access roads.

Where a former villa once stood, a sustainable residential project is now taking shape, comprising two building volumes: one block with eight family homes and a second block with 27 apartments, office space and an underground car park.

Residents will also enjoy a beautifully landscaped garden of no less than two hectares. Sustainable technologies such as geothermal energy and a smart water infiltration system using wadi swales make Porfier a forward-looking and environmentally responsible development.

The works

As contractor, we are responsible for carrying out the full construction works of Porfier. A distinctive feature of the project is the recovery and reintegration of the original porphyry cobblestones from the former driveway. These stones not only inspired the project’s name, but also contribute to its sustainable character.

We oversee the structural works, finishing and the integration of sustainable technologies in close collaboration with the appointed partners. In addition, we provide added value to the client through our dedicated customer guidance service. Purchasers receive personalised support in making their interior choices and benefit from professional, well-informed advice. In this way, we act as the link between buyer and contractor, ensuring clear communication and transparent, consistent agreements.
