Environment
Insights
Since 2025, we have been systematically mapping our CO₂ emissions. As a company certified at Level 3 of the CO₂ Performance Ladder, we closely monitor our own emissions (Scope 1 and 2).
Through periodic measurements and reporting, we gain clear insight into our energy consumption and organisational emissions. This data forms the basis for targeted reduction measures and is updated on a quarterly basis in line with our CO₂ management system.
Objectives
We aim to achieve a structural reduction of our CO₂ emissions by 25% by 2028, both at company level and project level, compared to our 2023–2024 baseline year. Our actions are linked to performance in Scope 1 and 2 and include, among others:
- reducing emissions through the electrification of our vehicle fleet,
- purchasing and using Belgian green electricity at our offices and construction sites, and
- reducing fuel consumption during construction site activities.
These objectives are formalised in our energy management plan and are evaluated on an annual basis.
Communication
We attach great importance to transparency in our operations—and this certainly applies to this project as well. We want to keep all stakeholders as well informed as possible, and that starts here, on this page.
How and through which channels we will share information is outlined in our communication plan.
Participation
We actively involve our stakeholders in our projects. We are pleased to share our vision and way of working, while also remaining open to learning from others. In this way, we work together towards stronger and better solutions.
Among other activities, we are represented on the board of directors of Embuild, collaborate on achieving the VOKA Charter, and actively participate in numerous other projects and initiatives within the sector.
