The project
Het Reihof, commissioned by ION, is a forward-thinking residential concept that responds to the growing demand for high-quality, independent senior living.
The residence combines the comfort of a five-star hotel with the freedom of independent living, setting it apart from the traditional residential care model. Across three above-ground volumes, 113 certified assisted living units have been developed, each designed with a strong focus on comfort, privacy and quality of life.
Residents benefit from extensive amenities, including a swimming pool with wellness facilities, a fitness room, hair salon, lounge bar, library and an on-site restaurant. Every element has been carefully designed to enhance daily life, without compromising independence. A warm and carefree living environment lies at the heart of the project.

The works
As main contractor, Furnibo was responsible for the complete realisation of Het Reihof, from structural works to final finishes.
An underground parking garage was constructed, providing ample car parking spaces, bicycle storage and private storage units. The project required meticulous planning due to the integration of numerous shared amenities. A high level of finishing and sustainability served as guiding principles throughout every phase of the works.
Thanks to efficient phasing and close collaboration with all partners involved, the project was delivered in accordance with the highest quality standards. In doing so, we created a residence where seniors can enjoy a peaceful living environment while maintaining comfort and independence.
